Programmable Thermostats
The average household spends about $2200 a year on energy bills, and half of that goes to heating and cooling. Installing a programmable thermostat and maintaining your settings can save a homeowner about $180 a year.
Programmable thermostats are available in what are called 5+2 day configurations and 7-day configurations. The difference is flexibility. A 5+2 day configuration allows you to set Monday–Friday as a group setting with up to four different time settings. This configuration also allows you to set Saturday and Sunday as a separate group with up to four different time settings per day. The 7-day configuration thermostat allows you to program each day differently with up to four different time settings per day.

Zoning
Do you have a house where you have hot and cold spots? Maybe you have a two story home that you cannot get comfortable on both levels? Then Electronic Zoning from Mountain Air is for you.
Electronic zoning allows you to control the air flow in your home to where you want it most. Each zone is set up with it’s own thermostat, and electronic dampers are installed in your ductwork. When the zone calls for hot or cold air, the electronic damper opens automatically to send air where you need it.
So call Mountain Air for a free analysis of your duct system to see if zoning will work for you!
UV Germicidal Lamps
The cold and damp cooling coil of a home’s air conditioning system is a prime breeding ground for bacteria and mold spores. Ultraviolet Germicidal Lamps mount inside your ductwork above your coil and use the power of ultraviolet light to control the growth of mold, bacteria, and viruses. The ultraviolet light reduces the airborne micro-organisms and keeps them from reproducing in your system.
Contact Mountain Air and we will be glad to talk to you about clean air.
