We've Moved – Service Is Back at Our Original Location!

The weather is moving from warm to cold, which means it is now furnace season. Now is the time to get your furnace tune-up so you'll feel good in your home! And speaking of homes, we feel like we just moved home. We have returned to the building on 3385 S 1325 W in Ogden, which had been the home of our family business for over 50 years.

We want to make sure our customers know that we have moved from our location on Riverdale Road. We also want people to know Service is Back at the building that always represented great service in this community. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for allowing us to earn your business over the last three years. We really appreciate it! And we’d like to reconfirm that we plan to keep supplying great service. That’s our number one goal. That’s why we started Mountain Air Conditioning and Heating.

Lori grew up in the HVAC industry and learned the meaning of old-fashioned values and personalized service from her father, Roger Barlow. He founded Barlow Wasatch Furnace Company in 1954. In 1980, Lori’s husband, Vance, began working there, and Lori joined the company in 1989.  In June of 1993, Lori and Vance bought the company from her father and in 1999, they sold it to Lennox Industries, which later became Barlow Service Experts.  In the fall of 2008, the Rheads decided to return to their independent, family-owned roots.  They took their combined 40 years of knowledge and experience in the HVAC industry and started Mountain Air Conditioning and Heating.

We’re back in the old building now and it just feels right. We are excited to return to our roots in a building that fits like a comfortable pair of work boots. Come on by and say hello. This is a great time of year to call us for tune-ups to make sure your system is ready for the cooling season. And don’t forget we have 24-hour service as well. We’re looking forward to serving you!
